Job Description:
Leadership role responsible for solutions delivery across the Commercial Technologies program who oversees the teams that manage Boston Scientific s global Salesforce.com platform. The IT Manager I is responsible for ensuring delivery teams abide by the necessary standards and processes within the company while developing software through Agile values and principles.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Managing Salesforce platform delivery, Delivery will include core salesforce capability, medical education capability, Tech debt and shared capability.
- Responsible for managing Learning management System and Integration across Salesforce platform
- Manage resources and processes required to design, plan, and support all information products and services.
- Prepare, maintain and keep updated IT procedures and documentation related to our processes and platforms operations.
- Supervise, hire, and train IT Department employees.
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work and mentoring/developing other team members
- Clearing obstacles or blockers both internally within the scrum-team and external groups including integration and deployment teams
- Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management
- Promote empowerment of the team and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team
- Drives resource planning with Commercial Technologies COE
- Supports CERA planning with Commercial IT team
- Accountable for ensuring necessary validation and quality documentation is captured across the program
- Responsible for driving sprint velocity
- Responsible for communication and escalation of issues faced by scrum-teams to IT and business leadership
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree plus 3
Years IT management experience working with diverse and virtual teams - 2
years of leadership experience in large global projects or managed platforms - 3
years of analysis experience in large global implementations of Salesforce.com. - 8-10 years of relevant IT Experience
- Experience with Sales and Service Cloud capabilities to include Case Management and Knowledge Management.
- Experience partnering with Services and Sales business functions.
- Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred
- Balanced business/technical background:
- Proven technical experience to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
- Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value

Qualifications:
- Extensive background with software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
- Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne or Agile Accelerator
- Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
- Salesforce.com Administrator and Salesforce.com Developer Certification preferred
- Examples of creative approaches to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects
- Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel
- Previous experience to work in a regulated environment
