Accountant Wanted - Senior Accountant

Utilize the Quickbooks 2018 platform to account for financial transactions by establishing a Chart of Accounts
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Perform adjustment functions
Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions and reconciling entries
Maintain and balance general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries, prepare trial balance and reconciling errors
Receive, approve and or decline invoices; Pay invoices and maintain ledgers
Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, year end projections, aging reports
Generate 1099's and W-2's
Assists with budget preparations
Work on several projects simultaneously
Meticulous to detail
The ability to share best practice suggestions.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.
Proficiency in MS Office, Quickbooks, Excel, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
A proven track record of implementing accounting processes and systems
Minimum Bachelors accounting/finance degree
8 years related experience
Start up business experience preferable
Previous experience as a CFO or CPA would be advantageous but not essentialEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
