Key Responsibilities
Legal Research, Analysis and Training:
Analyzes legal information such as trial documents, dockets and cases for profile related information
Creates and classifies legal information
Peer reviews, edits and audits legal information created by others.
Demonstrates competence in Thomson Reuters Westlaw navigation and on-line research tools.
Demonstrates proficiency in team's primary workflows.
Demonstrates ability to review large volumes of documents and correctly discern relevant information within stated delivery timetables
Trains new staff on Editorial Tools
Editorial Responsibility:
Adheres to and communicates editorial publishing schedules and quality standards.
Consults with finance, marketing, scheduling, and other departments regarding the business aspects of products as required.
Develops and maintains effective relationships with vendors and overseas contacts. Identifies relationship issues and communicates those issues to management. Provides support for contract negotiations, as needed.
Verifies own work and that of other staff, as required, for accuracy and completeness, and ensures that the information is properly presented and organized.
Maintains and develops legal knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on legal trends and developments related to the employee's editorial responsibilities.
Individual and Leadership Development:
Attends and participates in meetings as requested/required.
Participates in the employee evaluation process (both wider feedback and self-evaluation).
Develops knowledge of Thomson Reuters Legal publications and products related to the employee's responsibilities, and those of competitors.
Prioritizes own work.
Understands the roles and responsibilities of each collaborator/team member and how each role impacts production.
Demonstrates competence on company specific systems necessary to perform job functions.

REQUIREMENTS:
J.D. degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
REQUIRED Knowledge and Skills:
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Exceptional editorial judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and communicate complex legal material.
Understanding of editorial production processes and requirements, and ability to use editorial systems and tools like LPA, ERT, EIR, JMT, and Case Evaluator
Strong technical aptitude, including an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office, internet searching, and ability to learn new software and tools quickly
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to work successfully in a collaborative or team environment.
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all contacts, both US and overseas, and in and outside Thomson Reuters.
DESIRED Knowledge and Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrated understanding of civil procedure, litigation and expert witnesses

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
