Dairy Marketing Data Analyst
The Corporate division encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Land O'Lakes Foundation and Community Relations, Finance, Law, Member Relations, Facilities, Event Strategy, Security, Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Marketing and Government Relations.

In the Data Analyst role, you will support and enable our data-driven organization to reach new levels with innovation and data to solve complex problems. Using your keen eye to mine data across the enterprise, recognize trends, and deliver business growth recommendations, we'll look to you to identify opportunities in our big data environment.

This role will work closely with the Marketing managers, Integrated Marketing Communications, Business Intelligence and Digital Marketing teams working on varying levels of projects.

Responsibilities:
Mine through different data sources to identify business trends and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
Perform statistical analysis to support business needs. Gathers required data and performs data analysis to support business need. Anticipates clients' future and ongoing needs.
Determine best method to gather, model, manipulate and present data. Gather business requirements and translates business questions into requirements
Partner with business users to validate business requirements/requests for analysis and present intermediate and final analytical results.
Document analytical methodologies used in the execution of analytical request projects. Translate scientific methodology to business terms, providing guidance and assistance to others in translation.
Conduct ongoing analysis of programs executed post promotion and advise business leaders on recommendations based on business and marketing analytics.
Identify opportunities to deliver business growth through fact based recommendations.
Partner with the IT organization in development of our Big Data environment.

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
7-10 years' experience in an analytical position that required gathering information from multiple sources to support the data based decision making process
Strong Analytical skills
SQL
Statistical programming knowledge
Data visualization

5 years' experience in an analytical position that required gathering information from multiple sources to support the data based decision making process
Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
Experience in a CPG or retail organization
Experience working with big data technologies and solutions
Retail category management
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and communicate across multiple levels of business
