Actuarial Analyst II
Eagan, MN
This person will assist in providing actuarial support to enterprise Individual and Group Product teams as well as provide regulatory testing related to product design.
The Actuarial Analyst II will complete projects and perform complex actuarial studies.
This position will have responsibilities directly related to the dental portion of WellPoints business.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting.
Calculates monthly claims liability reserves, develops merit rating factors and prepares Department of Insurance annual statement exhibits.
Job Qualifications
Requires a BS/BA degree; required to have passed at least three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams; at least 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Any Forecasting or Dental experience is a plus.
