Summary:
As the Compounding Manager in our dynamic personal care contract manufacturing environment, you will lead the compounding and sanitization departments. Your mission will be to strategically plan, organize, and develop processes and objectives to meet and exceed production goals, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.Core
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee the management of compounding, sanitization, and chemical room operations, ensuring optimal use of personnel, materials, equipment, and time. Budget Management:
Develop and oversee the compounding departments annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimization. Team Development:
Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and the implementation of corrective actions, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Quality and Compliance:
Ensure all compounding activities comply with GMP standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain the integrity of the quality system, overseeing documentation, corrective actions, and deviation reporting. Safety and Efficiency:
Champion a culture of safety and efficiency, implementing OSHA guidelines and continuously seeking process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality. Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align compounding operations with overall production needs and company objectives. Spearhead continuous improvement projects to advance operational excellence. Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven track record of identifying issues, analyzing data, and implementing strategic solutions under pressure. Leadership and Organization:

In-depth knowledge of personal care product manufacturing, compounding processes, and production workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry-specific software. Required Education and
Experience:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Material Science, or a closely related field, is essential. Professional
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience in a personal care or cosmetics manufacturing setting. Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable. Familiarity with formulations and compounding processes specific to the personal care or cosmetics industry. Physical Demands:
The position involves standing (90%), walking, climbing, and bending within the manufacturing facility. Candidates must be prepared for physical exertion in a loud environment and capable of performing both repetitive and varied tasks. Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods, and handle tasks that require manual dexterity.
