Sr. RPG Developer

Genesis10 is seeking a Sr RPG Developer for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote.
Purpose:
Senior level RPG developer needed for iSeries development for initiatives as it relates to scalability, backlog of enhancement requests, and client implementations.
Position Overview:
Responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing application system changes for RPG code for these applications. This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed application systems to process data. This position is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs and collaborating with other team members by providing technical advice. This environment is a mix of Agile and Waterfall. They are about 70% Agile and they run with 2 week sprints. The teams have 6-8 resources.
Interaction level with team members:
Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Iteration Managers/Scrum Masters to establish specifications and estimations on complex initiatives and requests
Work with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Business Users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure product meets customer requirements and expectations
Technology Requirements:
Proficiency in IBM I-Series (AS/400) technologies RPG IV (ILE), DB2/400 RPGLE , CLLE, SQLRPGLE
At least 8 years of experience in AS400, RPGLE, CLLE
Experience with source code management/change control (for example MKS)
At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
Additional Requirements:
Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, CMS etc.)
Understanding of security implications of domain.
Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $65.00 - $75.00
