Maintenance Technician
is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for our client in Minneapolis/St. Paul!
Pay rate: 25.00
Duration: 6 months w/ conversion potential
Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul
o Travel Requirements: Maintenance Tech will average 10 locations within 50 mile radius
o Work Vehicle: Vehicle and tools provided with ability to take work vehicles home.
Hours: Standard - not anticipating overtime
Role Overview: The Maintenance Tech will perform maintenance and repair functions for Retail banking locations to include troubleshooting electrical, painting, wall patching, unclogging toilets, replacing fixtures, etc.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
o Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, heating and cooling.
o Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
o Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
o Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
o Reviews assigned work orders.
o Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
o Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
o Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
o Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
o Performs carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
o Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
o Provides vendor escorts as needed.
Years' Experience Required: 1+
Education Requirements: High School Diploma
Systems/Software Proficiencies: Office Outlook, Work Order systems
Certifications: N/A
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.
Top 5 Must have Skills:
o Ability and experience performing preventative and emergency maintenance tasks in a corporate setting.
o Ability to triage work orders and manage work order systems.
o Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
o Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
o Valid Driver's License

o Experience performing duties in a Retail banking environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
