Affinity Plus is excited to kick-off our 2024 Summer Internship ProgramThis program will provide Interns with the opportunity to work within their area of career focus while interacting with teams to expand organizational knowledgeThe Finance Intern will learn about financial institution balance sheet management, including loan and deposit pricing strategies and product profitability analysesThe intern will work closely with the VP of Finance and Risk as well as the Deposit Product Team to complete a gap analysis and market assessment of deposit products, features and pricing to aid the credit union in building a backlog of potential initiatives to help meet member needsThe project work includes balance sheet management basics, gap analysis market research and a presentation on findings What you can expect from us:

Currently pursuing a degree in a related field, such as Finance or Economics Strong degree of analytical capability with an aptitude to make data-driven decisions and recommendations Strong organization and time management skills with an the ability to prioritize workload based on project needs Genuine curiosity and ability to ask open-ended questions Research skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with people at various levels across the organization Ability to primarily work remotely and travel to Saint Paul, MN as needed for collaborative work, meetings and events Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team and ability to collaborate with others Flexibility to adapt and succeed in a dynamic environment Workplace Environment:
Sitting 90-95% and standing 5-10% Working at a computer 98% of the day Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, phones, etc Lift, carry, push or pull up to approximately up to 20 pounds with or without accommodations Required Work Schedule:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
