Job Description:
The Minnesota Department is seeking a SharePoint site owner and designer. The department is moving its on premises SharePoint farm to M365 and modernizing its content in the process. At a high level, the resource will help support the current technical staff, help the business generally prepare its SharePoint content and business solutions for migration to the cloud. This will include technical development, requirements setting in collaboration with the business, and informal training to experienced staff. This effort is due to be completed by December of 2024. Sample Tasks:
Analyze existing SharePoint Designer based solutions. Analyze existing SharePoint content and hierarchy. Identify core business requirements. Asses the business in modernizing existing solutions to Power Platform and Power Apps based solutions. The resource will collaborate and directly support MNIT technical resources to:
Modernize select legacy workflows into Power Automate and Power Apps Provide consultation and informal training to business users on Power Automate and Power Apps. Help identify flows or processes that are better suited to alternative M365 solutions. Provide knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
Must Have 2
years experience working in/with Information Technology teams, technology development, or content/business data design. 2
years experience with Office 365 solutions, business solution design for organizations within an enterprise-wide implementation. 2
years experience with SharePoint on prem, SharePoint Designer, PowerApps and Power Automate. Experience as a SharePoint farm administrator. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent training. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of both IT and our business customers. Experience with Government Community Cloud (GCC) or comparable. Experience working with an enterprise scale M365 environment. Ability to assess complex solutions and prepare well-reasoned plans and alternatives to product steering. Interview Process:
