Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

St Anthony Park Home is recruiting CNAs to provide quality care, and physical support, to our patients.
The CNA plays an important role at St Anthony Park Home under the direction of the DON and other healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate will spend time interacting directly with patients, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting when necessary.
CNA
Responsibilities:
o Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
o Assisting with daily activities to make sure the patient is well taken care of.
o Assisting patients with personal hygiene, including providing bedpans, and helping them to bathe.
o Monitor and record food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to report to nursing staff if necessary.
o Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan.
Qualifications & Skills:
o Current CNA certification through Minnesotao Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff.
o Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agentso Is able to endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and keep a calm, professional manner.
o Basic Computer skills.
