Summary:
As a Business Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer at the client in Maplewood, MN, you will be responsible for backfilling the position (Job ID:
111281) from November.
Your primary focus will be on scaling up new products, creating new SKUs, preparing cost estimates, and actively participating in cross-functional teams for the introduction and discontinuation of products.
Additionally, you will be involved in cost reduction initiatives and simplification of the product offering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Packaging, Industrial Engineering, or any related engineering or technical field.
3-5 years of relevant experience (candidates with 1-3 years of experience will also be considered).
Experience in the Following Areas:
Consumer Products:
Better understanding of the size and speed requirements of customers in the consumer products industry.
Cost Estimates & Quotes:
Proficient in developing accurate cost estimates and quotes for manufacturing processes.
Project Planning:
Proven experience in effective project planning and execution.
Cross-Functional Team
Experience:
Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams for successful project outcomes.
Six-Sigma:
Strong familiarity with Six-Sigma methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
SAP:
Proficiency in SAP systems, utilizing them to optimize supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Outsource Manufacturing:
Experience in managing and optimizing outsourced manufacturing processes.
Key
Responsibilities:
Backfill the position by taking on responsibilities related to scaling up new products, creating SKUs, and cost estimation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the phased introduction and discontinuation of products.
Lead or contribute to cost reduction projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Drive simplification of product offerings to improve manufacturing agility.
Apply Six-Sigma methodologies to ensure high-quality manufacturing processes.
Utilize SAP systems to optimize supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Apply expertise in outsource manufacturing to manage and enhance external production processes.
#CB Rate/Salary:
$30 - $33/hr on w2 Recommended Skills Agility Business Efficiency Consumer Product Industrial Engineering Outsourcing Packaging And Processing Duties Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
