59 PM Central General Duty Statement Join our team! The Mayor's office is seeking an Aide to the Mayor to serve as the primary support staff member for the Mayor's daily official activities.
The role works closely with the Mayor's Executive Assistant/Scheduler to coordinate, advance and staff meetings, appearances, events, and official functions.
The position includes some evening and weekend hours on a regular basis and reports to the Chief of Staff.
Here's what you can expect to do in this role:
Work with the Mayor's Executive Assistant/Scheduler to coordinate and advance logistics for upcoming meetings, appearances, events, and other official functions.
Prepare event and meeting memos, including talking points with communications staff.
Manage the Mayor's official correspondence with the Executive Assistant/Scheduler.
Generate and manage official social media content with communications staff.
Serve as the primary staff member who accompanies and provide logistical support to the Mayor during official engagements.
Other duties as assigned.
