We are currently seeking a skilled individual to fulfill the role of a setup person for our events at our magnificent historic mansion on Summit Ave.
If you enjoy physical work and thrive in a multitasking environment, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
Perform setup, tear down, and maintenance tasks for all banquet spaces, involving heavy lifting and moving.
Prioritize and multitask efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure smooth event operations.
Adhere to a predetermined setup map to ensure accurate and timely arrangement of the mansion.
Keep the banquet and storage areas tidy, organized, and vacuumed.
Handle breakdown activities after functions, ensuring proper storage of equipment and supplies.
Safely transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may arise.
Maintain a flexible schedule as our functions may have varying hours.
Thrive in a small, hardworking team environment where collaboration and mutual support are key.
