Senior Oracle Database Administrator with Security Clearance
Responsibilities Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for their Oracle Database Administrator positions on the Postal ETS program located in Eagan, MN.
These three openings will each have a different shift schedule.
These positions will be ON-SITE positions and NOT REMOTE.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Monday-Friday 10:
30pm-6am Thursday, Friday 7am-3:
30pm and Sat-Sun 6am-6:
30pm Day to Day Work
Responsibilities:
Overall maintenance, administration, monitoring, problem management, and production for Oracle databases.
Daily maintenance including monitoring and database maintenance tasks.
Database Upgrades to include working with project managers and managing individual projects for DB upgrades.
Backup & Recovery Apply patches and upgrade database versions.
Install and Build database structures.
Develop and maintain shell scripts.
Query and performance tuning Develop and maintain documentation.
Program in PL/SQL Performance tuning of databases Reviews database design and make recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.
Maintains security and integrity controls.
Develop stored procedures and/or triggers.
Qualifications Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5
years related experience, or Master's degree with 3
years related experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 9
years related experience.

Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Experience with LARGE multi-node RAC databases.
PROVEN experience with Oracle 19c databases.
Knowledge or experience with Post Gres SQL Familiarity with architecture, both logical and physical design MUST be flexible and willing to work on-call, overnights and weekends as needed.
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.

Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
