This position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security ClearanceMust be currently located in the Eagan, MNSUMMARY We are seeking a Mainframe (Z/OS) DB2 Systems Programmer to implement and assist with the installation, customization and maintenance of DB2, QMF, Control products, z/OS installation, mainframe to midrange; the related software products, and related toolsRESPONSIBILITIESo Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problemsSolutions must be imaginative, thorough, practical and consistent with organization objectives.
o Installing, maintaining and configuring DB2 in a large SYSPLEX enterprise environmentREQUIREMENTSo Bachelors degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience, additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
o Candidates must have a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards related to z/OS System software installation and management.
o Demonstrate the skill and ability to independently perform system software installation and maintenance; software failure diagnosis and repair.
o Software installation, configuration and support includes:
o DB2 V12o Compuware File-Aid for DB2 productso Mainview for DB2 configurationo Experience and well-developed System Programmer (SMP/E) skills are a must.
o Must possess a valid Public Trust Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain one prior to startPreferred Qualificationso Complete suite of BMC DB2 Administration and Performance tools (Catalog Manager for DB2, SQL Explorer, etc.
).
o Rocket Shadow Server.
o Certificate for DB2 V12 System Administration.
o DB2 Database Administration experience.
