The Prepared Meals Program Grant Manager plans, develops, organizes, and manages policy and program development for prepared meal program initiatives in the Minnesota Department of Human Services' Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO).

Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and administer federal, state and private funds to expand Prepared Meals initiatives and to build the capacity of grantees and program partners engaged in these initiatives.
Establish program goals and objectives, monitor compliance and evaluate policies and procedures for Prepared Meal programming.
Direct, organize and manage information-sharing, training and technical assistance to build the capacity of program grantees working to provide hunger relief to Minnesotans experiencing food insecurity and who have difficulty preparing meals due to limited mobility, disability, age, and/or or limited resources.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
Three (3) years of professional experience in a human services/social services or public health setting in which at least two (2) years are experience working with programs serving low-income populations.
Experience must demonstrate:
Grant or program management experience in food, nutrition, or anti-hunger fields Program evaluation and reporting experience Data and statistical analysis skills A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Public Policy, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional experience.
OR A Master's degree in in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Public Policy, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications Effective communication and marketing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communications, public speaking, and ability to establish rapport with a wide range of people spanning the local, state, and federal levels.
Experience launching new program initiatives and/or expanding program efforts.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different background and cultures.
