Senior Capital Markets Portfolio Analyst

Position OverviewAs a key member of the Treasury Team, you will be a part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world.
The Senior Capital Markets Portfolio Analyst contributes to and enhances AgriBank's portfolio management capabilities and includes analysis of market opportunities, liquidity, investment portfolios, and balance sheet risks, positions, and performance.
Analysis will be primarily in the investment and debt positions of AgriBank's $20 billion investment portfolio, contributing to the overall risks, positions, and performance of capital markets and liquidity strategies.
Duties include:
Invests excess cash and executes trades after completion of market research, comparisons and availability according to regulation, policy, strategy, limits, performance targets and desk guidelines Manages structured finance portfolio with guidance from and assistance to Portfolio Manager Executes trades and analyzes derivative portfolio and transaction Maintains strong working relationships with brokers and other counterparties Contributes to validation of models owned Supports AgriBank's investments, derivative, and liquidity reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual activities Analyzes structured finance portfolio's risk and performance, recommends solutions to improve risk adjusted returns Supports analysis and preparation for the contingency funding plan Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field CFA certification or Master's degree preferred 4 - 6 years of related experience Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Knowledge Advanced knowledge of and experience in analyzing cash flows Intermediate knowledge of fixed income markets and investments Intermediate knowledge of cash & securities settlement operations and systems Basic knowledge of accounting processes and procedures Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bloomberg software Intermediate proficiency with structured query language (SQL) and relational databases Basic knowledge of accounting processes and procedures AgriBank will not sponsor a work visa (e.
