Current base pay:
$24.
78 per hour for Extra Helper Stock Prep (Manufacturing Associate) position.
$26.
49 per hour for Michigan when qualified and working in that position; $28.
81 per hour for Refiner Operator when qualified and working in that position.
Hours of work:
Must be willing to work varying shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Must work overtime as needed.
Some Duties/
Responsibilities:
Operate forklift and/or other equipment within department.
General housekeeping and snow removal.
Clean screens, trenches, equipment, etc.
as needed.
Record and document as necessary.
Assist to extinguish small fires if applicable.
Ability to work safely and comply with all Local, State, Federal, and WestRock laws, regulations, and practices.
Perform the essential functions of the other positions within the department on a relief and fill-in basis.
Qualifications:
Pass Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Test with a score of 50% or higher per labor agreement.
Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to work in the United States and have acceptable I-9 documentation.
Must obtain and maintain forklift certification via internal training.
Must train and qualify to perform two positions higher than this position.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, tape measures, etc.
Must be able to add fractions.
Must join/be a member of USW Local 264 and meet/sustain requirements of the current appliable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
