Summary:
The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Campus Security Manager to support the Director of Safety and Security in the day-to-day operations and logistics at the Vikings Training and Operations Facility, with an emphasis on Facility safety/security operations.
This is an integral role to ensure a safe working environment for the staff, coaches and players.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of security or law enforcement or public safety experience and will have managed a team.
The Vikings Campus Security Manager will have a high level of discretion and superior crisis management skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Overseeing Command Center, including access systems and alarm response Respond to all on-site emergency situations Onsite supervision of security personnel, including managing schedules Under the direction of the Director of Safety and Security, coordinate and manage Special Events Managing special events may include working nights, weekends and holidays.
Oversee loading docks security Monitor Facility grounds for any safety issues and report to Facilities and Grounds management to resolve issues Work with staff members regarding emergency situational awareness and provide instruction in response to emergencies on site Provide on-scene direction and assist responding emergency personnel when required (including Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement and HAZMAT response teams) Provide escort service to personnel and visitors on facility grounds when requested Assist personnel and visitors requiring vehicle assistance (such as jump-starting a car, providing other assistance with contacting tow, etc.
) Development, review, approval, and implementation of Emergency Action Plans for the Campus and Special Events on campus in collaboration with event stakeholders (MVV) in the buildings, grounds, and venues of TCO Stadium and TCO Performance Center.
Have an All Hazard view of the workplace, including training, prevention, and reporting Assist in the development of policies and procedures to guild employees and guests in areas of Safety and Security Assist in managing the contract security operations to its highest level Manage video systems, door security (electronic and hard key) system Work with the Security Director conducting background checks on behalf of the Minnesota Vikings Manage incident reporting system.
This is primarily a facility position that may include limited team travel, game day assignments at U.
S.
Bank Stadium, and professional development training.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
5
years' experience in public safety or special event security Some college or related professional training required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Certification as a Criminal or Intelligence Analyst preferred.
Prior experience coordinating with multiple police departments and/or government and contracted agencies preferred Excellent writing and research skills CPR training and first aid training required Incident Command Systems Training Excellent listening, communication, and customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to maintain professional composure and confidentiality in all situations Experience in large-scale special events support and management Assist in the development and management of department budgets.
Ability to conduct safety and security training as needed.

The person in this position will need to be able to be present in all areas of the facility with short notice.
Primarily an M-F business hours work shift with flexibility and responsibilities on weekends, nights, and holidays when required.
