Pricing Analyst

POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for quoting NC products and services utilizing the latest costing and pricing methodologies.
Provide technical support, as well as marketing and sales support.

Responsibilities:
Act as part of the sales channel to qualify requests for pricing to creatively and accurately craft custom solutions that fit the customer's needs as well as our manufacturing capabilities.
Work directly with outside Sales Representatives and internal staff to complete RFQ's, gather information, and correspond with customers to ensure accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction within the pricing process.
Accurately and timely update pricing related requests in Microsoft CRM.
Accurately generate new price proposals, revise current price proposals, and follow up on proposals that are sent; generate pricing from definitive costing tools while ensuring optimal margins considering NC and our customers.
Ability to use data to support pricing decisions; collaborate with others in situations that may challenge margin parameters.
Implement company costing and pricing initiatives.
Maintain catalog pricing.
Draft and distribute commitment letters to appropriate personnel.
Maintain database of all non-stock inventory items and track when commitments are due.
Support continuous improvement efforts.
Gather and share data, create charts and diagrams.
Stay current on materials, products, and processes to provide technical assistance and answer questions for customers and sales representatives.
Work to improve the process, maintain up to date and easily accessible information.
Keep process, backup paperwork and computerized files organized.
Position must be present in the facility - not applicable for remote or hybrid work situation.
Possible infrequent travel for training purposes and collaboration.
Willingness for other duties within capabilities as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
High School diploma minimum, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years inside sales or customer service experience is preferred.
Product acumen and background in product costing and/or pricing preferred.
Understanding of customer/outside sales rep needs with ability to tailor solutions.
Applicable understanding of basic NC manufacturing and supply chain processes is preferred.
High degree of attention to detail with the ability to evaluate data from multiple sources and tie it together.
Computer literacy - Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and Outlook), Windows, MAS 500, database querying tools (Datatools Reporting), and CRM (salesforce relationship tools).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, able to manage own projects, both short and long term.
Able to handle multiple priorities, initiative to help improve current methods.
Willingness to learn.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
