Director of Sales - Agriculture at TSI The Director of Sales Agriculture is responsible for achieving the yearly sales global sales targets for the Agriculture division of TSI, DICKEY-john branded products.
In this role, the Director of Sales Agriculture is responsible for all sales activities including major OEM account activities and sales through distribution.
They must also develop both strategic and tactical plans that allow DICKEY-john to increase sales and develop new products that aligned with corporate growth goals.
Along with leading and managing the sales team, it will need to contribute to new product development.
This will include collaborating with marketing and engineering in order to capture voice of customer, market requirements, business plans, and coordinating lab, field, alpha and beta testing.
What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:
Leading and overseeing the activities of the global sales force.
Coordinating sales forecasting, budgeting, planning, and process optimization.
Creating and implementing strategic sales plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Owning and reaching or exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
Directing and supporting consistent implementation of the business's initiatives in all sales strategies and initiatives.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with a focus on Agricultural OEM's.
Leading, managing and coaching sales professionals and sales support team in effort to ensure optimal performance and engagement of the sales force.
Collaborating with marketing and engineering on new product development projects.
Fostering close and collaborative relationships with various departments in the business with a view of enhancing sales initiatives.
Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The Director of Sales is responsible for managing and coaching the Agriculture sales team by conducting regular individual coaching meetings, team meetings and field sales calls.
Conducts performance reviews, provides feedback and makes recommendations regarding compensation, promotion, training, discipline and termination of individuals within the sales network.
