Supply Chain Specialist
This position will actively participate in enhancing our service to customers by effectively managing the supply chain while supporting our sales and operations teams.
Additionally, this position is a collaborator on incorporating more strategic elements of supply chain management such as contributing to cost savings initiatives by negotiating purchase price discounts, implementing inventory reduction programs, exploring supplier managed inventory options, participating in S&OP programs and applying Lean supply chain tools and models.

$75,000 - $90,000 plus 5% bonus Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning:
Involved in long-term strategic planning for the supply chain function, considering factors such as market trends, competitive analysis, and business goals.
Process Improvement:
Identifying process inefficiencies, designing process improvements, and implementing changes.
Supplier Management:
Increased responsibility in managing relationships with suppliers.
This can involve negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier performance, and developing strategic partnerships to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Involves a more extensive analysis of supply chain data, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partners with other departments, such as sales, operations, and finance, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives, support product launches, and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements 5
years' of buying and planning, experience in the printing and/or medical converting manufacturing environment preferred 4-year degree or equivalent Strong PC skills with knowledge of ERP functionality Professional Supply Chain certification a plus (APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPIM) Prior MRP planning system experience preferred.
