About the role:
Provides direction and vision to the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Diagnostic (Dx) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization along with financial leadership across the broader CRM & Dx leadership team.
This position and team will own planning, forecasts, financial inputs to the strategic plan, month close reporting, commercial and portfolio financial analysis / business decision support, and strategic direction in the achievement of long-term profitable growth across the Division.

Responsibilities:
Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent.

Leads the development of financial forecasts, plans, and strategic plans that support both short and long-term organization objectives.
Leads the accurate and timely development of both internal and external financial reporting that clearly articulates and highlights business trends for action.
Routinely brings recommendations to cross-functional leadership that help the company achieve both operational effectiveness and short and long-term financial performance objectives.
Ensures proper internal accounting controls are developed and implemented to safeguard company assets.
Supports the Division and Franchises with sound financial analysis and recommendations across internal portfolio investment, commercial investments, capital expenditures, and New Business Development assessments.
Strives to deliver on approved Plans and Forecasts across revenue, profitability, headcount, capital, and balance sheet investments.
Partners with the commercial organization and franchise on commercial programs, new product launch planning, pricing, and market analysis.
Demonstrates effective change leadership.
Builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.
Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, outside agencies, customers, vendors and/or suppliers.
Coordinates across functional areas, business units, and/or geographies in order to achieve company or area goals.
Utilizes technical/professional knowledge and skills to establish, interpret and execute company policies in a major segment of the company.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Makes and executes operational decisions with a strategic perspective.
Monitors compliance of policies and procedures with external regulations (GAAP, SEC regulations).
Works across organizational boundaries (cross-functional and cross-geographical) to ensure that financial policies are consistent and that financial forecasts reflect organizational priorities Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
While not required, an advanced degree (e.
g.
MBA) or advanced certifications and work are a plus.

years of relevant experience across the Finance disciplines to include Financial Planning & Analysis, commercial FP&A support, business decision support, and accounting and controls experience.
Experience managing teams and leading large-scale complex cross-functional projects or initiatives.
Exceptional program management skills, including ability to develop strategy and operationalize a vision into operational business processes and practice for global efforts.
