John's offers 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients We have outpatient access seven days a week This is a flexible casual position! ResponsibilitiesThe Imaging Tech Assistant supports the Imaging Department.
This includes, but is not limitedscheduling, retrieval, scan and import/burn CD.
Assist patients in preparation for theirimaging exams.
Assists Technologist in day to day functions.
Insure patient exams have clearsigned orders prior to scheduling.
Works closely with other departments (EmergencyDepartment, Med Surg/ICU, OB, Clinics, etc.
) with miscellaneous tasks and services to provide standard processes and top service to our internal and external customers.
Patient care Assists the technologist in the preparation of patient for radiology procedures as needed Documents patient information and insures patient safety and emergency preparedness Assists Technologist in the Imaging modalities area as needed with scheduling,checking in and patient care needs Pre-Schedules patients in the Imaging modalities area and provides support in confirmation of patient demographics and insurance verificationprocesses Imaging archival duties Imports outside imaging to electronic medical record Burns CD's for Providers and patients as needed and retrieves/ films from film library and scans hard-copy paper documents to the patient's medical record as needed Performs outbound calls from the Imaging work queue, to assist in scheduling pendingexams Practices accurate identification of all patient information Rooms and supplies Assists in the cleaning, maintenance, stocking and preparation of rooms Insures thatsupplies are ordered and maintained Adheres to radiology polices and infection control standards Radiology Information System Navigates PACS, EMR and Radiant with ease and assists with daily application and system needs Schedules/Checks in/arrives patients for their imaging appointments and uses Imaging Work Queue Burning / Importing of CD's and scans documents into the EMR and sends and retrieves information throughout the hospital Acts as a patient care representative Greets and prepares patients for imaging exams and helps patients with completing pre-contrast CT and pre-MRI Safety questionnaires Assists in positioning patients for Radiological Examinations, excluding holding duringimaging acquisition Transports imaging patients occasionally as needed for efficiency purposes Prepares contrast for examination QualificationsPreferredRadiology Technology student or Imaging experience in specific modalityRadiation Safety trainedNeed help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!Fairview Health Services (fairview.

Vaccination UpdateAs part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Fairview employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series.
Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before October 31, 2021.
Beginning August 9, 2021, any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
Annual flu vaccinations are also required before the employment start date for employees who begin employment during the flu season.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
