We are seeking a trained professional with strong presentation skills to join our Dental Software Training Team.
A certified Software Trainer II is responsible for phone, web-based and onsite training to support Patterson Software on-premise and cloud-based products.
The core responsibility is providing product training to help dental offices leverage technology to automate day-to-day tasks and enhance workflow, freeing up time to focus on their patients.

Adapt training techniques to align with customer learning style by implementing technics learned in training.
Configure and implement software preferences to support a successful customer implementation.
Responsible for independently applying training to conduct instructor-led training sessions virtually or onsite for Patterson Dental on premise Software product and 3rd party software integrations.
Managers and owns multiple customer training plan at one time.
Has the aptitude to adjust the training plan where needed.
Ongoing training to ensure up-to-date knowledge of Patterson Dental on premise Software product.
Responsible for learning and applying best practices when presenting data conversion evaluation results to align customer expectations prior to software implementation which includes working autonomously and making decisions on training plans and effective delivery methods on the spot.
Create data plans to support the customer with a successful software transition.
Subject matter expert for the products for training content creations.
Serves as a mentor for Software Trainers I.
Provide advice and recommendations for best course of action.
Analyze customer data based on key performance indicators and recommendations to business owner/office manager.
Assist and participate in the Customer Success departments customer retention activities.
Participate in identifying training solutions to ensure a first-class customer experience.
Use CRM software to track customer interactions.
Responsible for all reporting and tracking of pre and post training activities within compliance procedures and policies.
In partnership with manager and mentor determine areas of opportunity.
Shares accountability and commitment for departmental and organization-wide results to support departmental/team goals and objectives.
Set a positive tone and emulate a respectful and tactful demeanor when dealing with all persons.
Begins establishing consistency when dealing with employees concerns and/or issues.
Performs other duties as required.
Required Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in the dental industry or equivalent experience training.
Certified with Patterson Core product(s) within 6 months of hire date.
Must be certified with Software Wellness Checks and Conversion evaluations within 6 months of software certification completion.
Uses information and feedback from a variety of sources to make informed decisions.
Strong customer service experience with an outgoing and friendly personality.
Facilitation and presentation skills for both in person and remote settings.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also being able to contribute to a team environment.
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Success in creating a supportive and positive learning environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with people at all levels.
Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy understand manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Communication Dental office administrative experience Some working knowledge of Practice Management Software preferably Patterson Eaglesoft or Fuse.
Experience with a Learning Management System.
Experience training adult learners Experience with conducting virtual presentations Experience with remote engagement tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams Physical Demands Operating a computer or other office devices for most of the workday May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers, and vendors Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents.
Environmental Factors Must have reliable home internet with enough bandwidth for video conferencing.
This position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building.
The buildings primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers and other office equipment and devices for professional services.
Travel and On-call Up to 50% travel for customer trainings, events, or meetings when required in MN, ND & NE.
