About the role:
Be a member of a team that designs, implements, and tests firmware for implantable medical devices Be responsible for translating cutting-edge research algorithms into implementations suitable for low-power and low-latency embedded firmware systems.
Utilize a variety of new and proven technologies to deliver life-changing diagnostics and therapies to patients and clinicians in support of BSC's mission.
Your responsibilities include:
Implementing and testing implantable medical device firmware in a robust manner.
Collaborating with firmware, systems, hardware, and software engineers to optimize solutions across the entire system Developing and documenting new requirements and designs using existing firmware engineering methods and technologies.
Working effectively within a Lean/Agile team Analyzing activities and methodologies with peers and cross-functional groups to continuously improve quality, and work processes.
What we're looking for:
Minimum Qualifications Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent engineering field:
BS 2-5 years of experience Or MS 0-2 years of experience Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills Proficient with programming languages:
embedded C and C+
Preferred Qualifications Experience core firmware engineering and full software life cycle skills Experience with industry standards IEC 62304, Cybersecurity or Bluetooth Experience with safety critical systems and static analysis tools Requisition ID:
