About the role:
This is a highly dynamic role in which you will work in a team environment to help create and execute clinical evidence strategies for cardiology medical devices (CRM and Electrophysiology) by analyzing internal and external data sources for clinical evidence outcomes.
This role combines thorough understanding of clinical data with software and IT systems skills to prepare clinical data for analysis.
A successful candidate has strong database skills to extract, clean, organize and analyze data under quality systems processes such as data governance, protected health information, third party data, and real-world evidence protocols.
Strong reporting and communication skills used to provide status and coordination across the internal and cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Understand organizational data needs and gaps by working with stakeholders across the organization on clinical evidence needs (Post Market Clinical Follow-up, Post Approval Studies, commercial evidence gaps and publication plans) Develop and maintain strong knowledge of BSC data assets including Clinical trial, internal databases and 3rd party licensed datasets including identifying new opportunities Use knowledge of IT systems, clinical and corporate data tools/methods including SAS, SQL, R, and data modeling to assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Compile data for analysis, reporting, governance and/or communications to key stakeholders to support business processes.
Identify, pull, and analyze data related to clinical outcomes and reimbursement information.
Ensure all datasets created comply with quality system using processes such as data governance, protected health information, third party data and real-world evidence protocols.
Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide analysis datasets, and actionable insights into clinical outcomes.
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
Seek to understand business requirements for data/information and establish processes/reporting to support.
Support ad hoc requests and special projects as required.
May perform statistical analysis.
Carry out background research on clinical data (internal databases, 3rd party data, literature, etc.
) for a range of disease areas appropriately.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree A minimum of 5 years related professional experience Extracting, organizing, and analyzing data using SAS/R, SQL, and Data modeling With Oracle, SQL Server, AWS, and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT systems Experience working with Clinical Trial Statistics Preferred
Qualifications:
Master's degree and a minimum of years professional experience Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology medical device products and related disease states/ medical terminology (pacing, defibrillation, diagnostics, mapping and ablation in CRM/EP therapy areas) highly valued.
Experience in a regulatory environment, in particular EUMDR in general and Post Market Clinical Follow-up activities more specifically Understanding clinical coding highly desirable Knowledge of BSC Clinical trials and BSC internal and third-party datasets Experience creating dashboards from various datasets Experience developing feasibility assessments for data gaps and understanding of 3rd party data industry trends Machine learning understanding Requisition ID:
