Summary:
UFM St.
Paul is looking to hire a part-time ( 25 hours a week) Security Guard to provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols (public areas, stairwells, conference rooms, bathrooms, waiting rooms), responds to emergent needs of the organization and its occupants (fire alarms, disaster alerts, urgent requests) and provides response to routine requests of all departments (safety escorts, unlocks and lock ups) and providing appropriate customer service to all staff, patients, and visitors.
The Security Officer investigates incidents, responds to resolve matters that threaten the safety of staff, visitors and patients and completes appropriate reports and documentation within the scheduled shift.
Essential Functions:
Security patrols around the facility, to include the parking ramp area Deescalate possible hostile situations Monitor security cameras and report incidents to the chain of command Ensure patients and staff are safe and secure from harm and hazards throughout the clinic SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper access to the facility 24/7 A personal workstation with computer and phone access KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
CPR preferred Security protocols Working knowledge of Microsoft Systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) EDUCATION/
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent One year experience in security, law enforcement, military is highly encouraged Valid Drivers license and transportation is required CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Law Enforcement preferred Military Basic and AIT completion encouraged PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a clinic office environment.
Contact with staff, patients, and outside agencies.
Possible exposure to communicable disease and medical preparations common to clinic environment Beginning January 4, 2022, all job offers are conditioned on the candidate being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine authorized for emergency use or FDA-approved.
A person is only considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving a single J&J vaccine or a second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine shot.
