We supply blood and blood components, state-of-the-art laboratory services, and biomedical expertise to area healthcare partners, national blood centers, biotechnology companies, research institutions, and international clients.
Operating 10 donor centers and conducting hundreds of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 30 area hospitals and more than a dozen air ambulances with life-saving blood--from our community, for our community.
Responsibilities:
Summary:
The position is responsible for providing support in implementing strategic marketing plans through traditional and digital marketing campaigns aimed at recruiting and retaining blood, platelet, and plasma donors for New York Blood Center Enterprises.
This position is responsible for organizing the use of marketing materials and upholding the organizational brands.
As a member of the Enterprise Donor Marketing team, the individual will collaborate on national and local programs, tactics, and tools for building donor frequency, growing the donor base and other strategic priorities - as assigned by supervisor.
This individual will also assist with drafting and editing copy, marketing communications and marketing promotions to support donor engagement.
Supports the supervisor in representing the Enterprise brands in the community and to media channels.
Provides assistance to team members, and helps manage efforts that further the vision, mission and values of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing team to support innovative and strategic marketing plans Execute campaigns and initiatives using multiple channels including direct sales, telemarketing, direct mail, e-mail, text, social media, and web Trafficking advertising in support of media buys for traditional and digital media channels Review and understand benchmarks and metrics for determining marketing strategies and decision making Analyze marketing campaigns and email results, report on ROI and recommend changes and best practice Oversight of recurring and ad hoc donor communications - as assigned Support mobile blood drive recruitment initiatives and projects Understand and review donor recognition activities and events as well as learn applications used to manage donor communications Assist in the execution of production planning/distribution Ensure all regulatory guidelines, practices, policies, procedures are met and followed in the operational unit Work with internal and external vendors, including graphic designers and printers Represent NYBCe at media events/media interviews as needed.
Act as brand champion and ensure brand consistency across all channels Support marketing supervisor.
Collaborate with enterprise staff and support relationships with peers, media, and external partners Schedule:

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience:
5 years of experience in marketing environment.
Other:
Knowledge of traditional and marketing strategies and trends Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite) Impeccable judgment Strong attention to detail in all work processes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
