8 Quick Apply Full-time 3 hours ago Full Job Description Nystrom is seeking an EMR Analyst to join our Health Information Technology team.
This role would have fully remote capabilities.
This role will work as a member of the Health Information Technology Department.
They will serve as a point of contact for agency-wide utilization of the Electronic Medical Record (Allscripts).
The EMR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring optimal workflow, usage of the Allscripts electronic health record, and continuous improvement and optimization of Allscripts system for patient care and clinic operations.
The successful applicant will be closely involved in designing, planning, and implementing new product features and data migrations of EMR applications.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Participate in relationships with External Vendors (Primarily Allscripts) Stay up-to date on Allscripts features & functions Explore additional solutions that will improve workflow and productivity Manage existing interfaces and establish new interfaces with business partners Develop a deep working knowledge of the structure of the Allscripts database, including both front end (canned reports and interfaces) and backend data structure Create and update note templates Collaborate with Health Information Technology department Work with HIT team members to ensure a good line of communications to customers Work with HIT team on report distribution and creation to ensure customers have the data they need in a timely manner to grow business and meet regulatory requirements Stay informed of and implement new technology and interoperability standards and requirements Collaborate with other departments Ensure key metrics are achieved and clinical quality measures are met Ensure interoperability standards and requirements are met Communicate with projects and application stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements Work with IT department on data migrations and EMR interfaces Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns Document workflows and create user-friendly guides for end users to use for everyday tasks Respond to end-user requests for issue resolution, create and monitor support tickets with internal ticketing system (Track It) and work to resolve problems quickly and accurately.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT or a healthcare related support function Maturity, patience, sound judgement, an aptitude for organization and excellent interpersonal skills are required to be able to handle competing demands for assistance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and to be able to explain technical issues Ability to provide expertise and direction on small to large-scale complex projects General knowledge of department/business lines, and/or system operations, policies, procedures, and technologies Must be creative, with attention to detail (compliance), and negotiation skills to interpret results, develop communications and recommend improvements 1-2 years of recent experience managing large and complex data systems projects in healthcare companies or similar environment Preferred Prior experience working in health care facilities.
Database design and query development using MS SQL/MySQL Development-level proficiency with MS Access and MS Excel Administration of Allscripts or other electronic medical records (EMR) systems Creation of technical documentation (e.

, user's guides, data dictionaries) Experience developing comprehensive workflows for internal and external use Participation in EHR data migrations and integrations Ability to collaborate on developing interfaces between Nystrom EHR and partner platforms Benefits Offered:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
