The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Chemical Process Piping Designer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Work with business partners to define chemical process projects based on business needs and strategic goals Creation of new P&IDs and updating of existing P&IDs 3D Model design for equipment layouts and piping isometric generation Field walk-downs of existing process systems to enable modifications of existing systems Work on project teams with project managers, various engineering disciplines, construction staff and plant personnel Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following
Qualifications:
Associate's degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Experience in computer aided piping design in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Piping or Mechanical Design (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Ten (10) years of experience in computer aided piping design with the ability to plan, manage, and deliver a number of projects simultaneously Strong oral and written communications skills Team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment Track record of successful project execution and completion
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Design & UXEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
